or excessive devotion or admiration. 4. anything that has no substance but can
be seen, as an image in a mirror. 5. any image or effigy, an imposter.
IDOLATOR: 1. a person who worships and idol or idols. 2. a devoted
admirer or adorer.
IDOLATRY: 1. worship of idols. 2. excessive devotion to or
reverance to some personor thing.
