Are you ready for another Pentecost? Pentecost is not a denomination,
it is Acts Chapter 2. There was a Great Revival in Jerusalem
This was the greatest revival of the New Testament, greater in many ways than the day of Pentecost. The disciples were all of one accord in one place, awaiting the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. they all had the same sound, (see 2 Chron 5:13.) If you get to that place God will shake the country. What is the result? Believers were added to the church? No, "to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women were added" As excitement and all was heightened due to all the healings and miracles....persecution came just like the bible says it will. The High Priests and the Sadduces came and arrested the apostles and put them in prison. But read on it did not stop them, the Lord got them out of prison and told them to go into the temple and preach to the people. It is better to obey God rather than men (Acts5:29) Think of this, all the devil has to do is blow his whistle once and his army runs to do his
work. (I know that is true, when I lived for the devil I didn't ask for confirmation to do anything, I just did it). In Acts 5 many mighty signs and wonders were done of them because they were in one accord, preaching and believing. The fire of God fell upon the church and sinners began to tremble, we are about to see that again. Miracles, signs and wonders were wrought by the hand of the apostles, not angels, the power of the Holy ''spirit went through the hands of the apostles and that is how it is today. God wants to use you and I to step put in faith and expect to see the same signs and wonders as then, and even more so. He dwells within us and the work is done by the mighty work of the Holy Spirit. "Know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost?" (I Cor 6:19) We are God's power plant. "Not I, but Christ" (Gal 2:20). This "sect" has always been spoken
against, misrepresented and lied about, see Acts 28:22. Around us day and night are ministering spirits, sent to minister
to those who are heirs of salvation" (Heb 1:14) We can afford to be misrepresented and even put in prison if we are only
looking for the manifestation and the glory of God. Don't be ashamed of Him or His works or even yet how He does His works, or He will be ashamed of you. Let us come into maturity and forget about who says what about us, all that really matters in the end is what God says about us. What will He says about you? I want to please Him, I want to hear those precious words, ""thou good and faithful servant", there is a price we have to pay are we willing to pay it, are we willing to give our time, money our effort to doing His will, the Great Commission. At Pentecost the people saw the fire on he apostles heads and heard them speak in other tongues, "as the Spirit gave them utterance" (Acts 2:4); they saw them stagger as drunk men. Wherever the Holy Spirit is filled out, you will see signs. Sure there will be counterfeit signs as even in the time of Moses with the serpent, God has given us discernment to know the difference, we need to walking in true holiness and consecration to the Lord to be safe from being deceived, you cannot walk half in the world and half in service for the Lord and expect that everything you receive will be from the Lord, if you are still in love with the things of this world you are still blinded by the enemy and walking in deceit even now. Ask the Lord to reveal your heart and cleanse it, that your life might be a dwelling place for the Lord. God has an exciting life for you, it is not a boring life as I have heard said by those who are still in love with the things of this world. God is calling His people into full consecration, "multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision". Returning to the great revival in Jerusalem, notice the mighty power that went from Peters body. His very shadow healed people. The Holy Spirit works through our hands and through our body’s. As we lift up Jesus, God sends His power through us, as He did in apostolic days. Let us rise and shine and give God the Glory. Children of God it is time to move out in faith and begin to pray for the sick, pray for miracles and signs and wonders that God will move in our communities. This move is by faith, not feeling, we will move out in faith and begin to exercise our authority in Christ Jesus, if we never lay hands on and pray for the sick and pray for miracles, we will never have a great revival of God. Faith moves mountains, this is a move of faith. Remember what the Lord said to Thomas, blessed is he who has not seen and still believes. Amen
